Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m a veteran teacher turned homeschooling mom of 4 with a passion for education at home! I have a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and am here to motivate and encourage you in all steps of your homeschooling journey.
My goal is to provide you homeschooling advice from my perspective as a mom, a former teacher, and an educational psychologist.
I started homeschooling in 2019 and learned so much in the process! I wanted to share what I’ve learned with others, and that’s when I founded Happy to Homeschool. Before homeschooling, I taught special education in public school for 14 years. I have a vast array of knowledge in working with exceptional children, especially those with attention disorders. Math was (and continues to be) my favorite subject! While I was teaching, I began creating fun and engaging art-inspired math education resources for grades 3 – 12. I continue to create and sell these resources today! You can take a look at them and find some freebies at my shop on teacherspayteacher.com.

In addition to my resources, you’ll also find some free printables and various homeschooling topics in my blog. I write about the personal triumphs and challenges I’ve faced as a homeschooling parent, fun arts and crafts ideas, and even how to manage a house while homeschooling!
I hope you find great success in your homeschooling journey! Best wishes!
